Valle del Khumbu – il trekking più spettacolare del Nepal

La regione del khumbu si trova nel cuore dell’Himalaya Nepalese, poche centinaia di chilometri a Nord di Kathmandu. È certamente la regione più consociuta e frequentata dell’intera catena montuosa per la presenza della montagna più alta della Terra e del suo campo base accessibile: l’Everest. Ma la struttura geografica del Khumbu fa si che vi siano ancnora grandi spazi isolati e meno conosciuti che andremo a visitare, come la valle di Thame e Tengbo, il sesto lago di Gokyo, il sentiero balcone che porta al campo base dell’Ama Dablam, ecc… Compiendo un percorso da ovest a est il panorama sarà crescente e il periodo tardo autunnale garantirà bel tempo e minor affollamento…
