The basic ski mountaineering course is designed to lay the foundations for uphill progression, descent technique with light equipment and the concepts of safety and self-rescue on avalanche-prone terrain.
The goal is to prepare the student so they can undertake medium-easy ski touring activities independently and safely.

Technical requirements:
It is essential to have a good descent technique in parallel skis on black slopes and a small amount of experience in off-piste skiing.

Individual equipment:

The rate of the Alpine Guide and collective material.


Artva, Pala, Sonda, first aid kit, spray glue, sturdy belt, ski touring skis, bindings with joint for ascent, ski touring boots, skins, rampants.

per person based on a group of 6 people

Four days will be held during the winter season in which, in addition to providing you with the technical bases and notions regarding safety, we will try to vary the “terrain” as much as possible and to explore the north-western Alpine arc (Valle d ‘Aosta, Piedmont, France, Switzerland). The specific program is to be agreed together with the participants as needed.
