Mont Braulé and Grand Combin

All round trips | Mountaineering and hiking

On the crest between Italy and Switzerland

The Grand Combin is one of those solitary and majestic 4000 that dominate the Italian Swiss border. The southern slope dominated the city of Aosta and is rocky and steep; the North side is icy and often popular in winter for ski mountaineering. Among the long ridges that run along the sides, the southwest ridge is the one that we will climb after acclimatizing ourselves in the wild Valpelline. Lonely and wild atmosphere guaranteed.
