The highest mountain in the Americas
Aconcagua, the highest mountain in the Americas, barely touches 7000 m. Being its normal routes of low technical difficulty, it is the ideal peak to face the high altitude.
The proposed itinerary, the East False Polish route that starts from the Plaza Argentina, has the same difficulties as the normal route for the West side but is more varied. The first rays of the Sun will give a more gentle awakening in the morning, to prepare for the day of walking and effort. The first stage runs along a perennial snowfield dotted with spectacular penitents, and leads to the impressive Polish glacier, the starting point for the fiercest teams that attempt the summit. The descent takes the same route to Plaza Argentina, then to Rio Vacas.
During the whole expedition we will give priority to your acclimation to guarantee you a greater chance of success. We do not purposely offer smaller peaks for acclimatization, in order not to waste time on bus transfers and administrative formalities. The adaptation to the altitude will take place through the alternation of active and rest phases, and the success rate in our expeditions is confirmation of its effectiveness. You just have to start discovering this wonderful mountain in the company of an Alpine Guide who will put you in a position to make the most of all your chances!
